JWinNC Posted March 4, 2009 Report Share Posted March 4, 2009 Hi Can anyone tell me how to mute the "ping" that goes along with every touch point on the f900bt? I just got this unit today, and needless to say I've been spending lots of time configuring and playing around with the system. I am going out of my mind with that loud "ping" every time I touch something. If it can't be muted, can it be lowered at least? I've gone through the manual and can't find anything on this. thanks! Of course, I could be missing something, but in "Navi Settings" I tapped "Sounds" and turned the "Master Volume" almost all the way down. Now I seem to just hear a faint beep throughout the system. I read a post that said that this will only affect the beeps in the GPS/Navigation part of the system, but it seems to be global! Very cool. If lowering this Master Volume will have any other possibly undesirable affect that I'm not aware of, please let me know. thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
