fred_internet
hi, Can i connect F500BT to my car radio aux input directly in order to use my car ampli and speakers? (without ND-G500 Yes you can but the signal from the F500BT is pretty weak and you'll probably need a ground loop isolator to eliminate hum.
njmikeb
I currently have mine going through a cassette adapter & it works pretty well. No hum anyway in my New Beetle. Next week I am getting it custom installed. Seperate power in (hot all the time) I am having it mounted on a mount that sits in front & below the dash. It's so big I could miss a truck in the blindspot otherwise. New headunit with DVD so I can run it through the AVIC. Maybe I'll take some before & after pics. Anyone interested? Fen911
It's always nice to see pictures of the install.
stereoinstaller1
I will be using the JL Audio CL-RLC to run my amplifiers directly from my F500, as I do not want radio of any sort in my car, nor a traditional "head unit". The CL-RLC will provide enough output to run any amp cleanly, retails at $60 and is surface or custom mountable. My only concern is the guidance voice blasting at 120+db!
