snoodge
Yea, I know its been talked about before, but the search function didnt turn up a fix or any real information, unless I just suck at searching. So, I have a modded F700BT that works great except if I have route guidance turned on and its giving me directions to someplace my iPod will have little annoying skips every few seconds while playing songs. The unit shipped to me with v2.0 firmware, so is this something that will probably be fixed in v3.0 firmware when that releases or is this fixable otherwise? It might be a dealbreaker for me, its pretty annoying and an unbelievable oversight on Pioneer's part. Thoughts?
njacobus
I had the same issue. Set your audio input to off. Go To AV Settings. Press MUTE/Input Guide and do Normal.
snoodge
Does that just mute the route guidance? I think what is happening is that even though I have the volume for the voice guidance turned all the way down, it still thinks about it for a second every time the voice is SUPPOSED to speak and forces the audio to skip. I'll try this!
snoodge
How the hell do I change the mute/input settings, its grayed out for me whether im in route guidance or not...
njacobus
you have to source the unit off to make the av settings un-grayed out
