is use of .gif images instead of .bmp images possible???

Recommended Posts

 is it possible to use a transparent .gif image for a daycar and nightcar icon instead of the bitmap red arrow? I'm looking into finding which file references these icons in the 2D maps but havent found anything yet... I think it should be possible since the F90BT uses windows interfaces for the programs. Just have to find the part of the iGo software to change... ANY IDEAS, ANYONE????

Thanks! been through all of that and having a problem setting up the alpha channel transparency thing with my version of Photoshop. check at the end of forum you referred me to and you'll find my postings asking for help getting the images to work.. struggling with a ton of other modification projects and could use a bit of help.
