aharper
I searched and left a comment in another thread in the troubleshooting section as well. I just installed my iPod cable earlier this evening and found that the Menu button doesn't go back one level on the iPod, it goes all the way back to the playlist or artist. Is there a hack that will allow me to hit something (anything) to go back one level like the menu does on an iPod? I tend to find myself searching through a single playlist a lot and having to go all the way back to the playlist menu, then scroll down to the playlist I was just in and then go down to the song I am looking for is a real pain. Surely someone has figured this out by now!!
mikehenya
Same here, I was just thinking today that normal iPod actions would be nice. I hope someone figured it out.
aharper
Worst case is to simply add a "back button" like every other screen has, that should do the trick. Surely someone has more skills than I do. If someone can point me toward the iPod ui files I'll be happy to give it a shot.
sternyy
yeah i posted about this a while back but never got a response... If you press the menu button within the first few seconds of selecting an artist and song it goes back one level... after you let it play it goes to the genre, playlist, etc page. Let me know if you figure it out!
irkgreen
I'd also love to see this. I have a similar frustration when I am playing random songs and I hear a band/album i like... what if you could tap the artist name or artist album and it go to that listing. I too would be happy to give it a whirl if i knew where to start. Seems it would only take adding an OnClick event to the textboxes that show artist name and album name. From there you should be able to view said artist/album. Thoughts?
