1loudls Posted March 31, 2009 Report Share Posted March 31, 2009 i was out to lunch to day when i received a phone call, which switch my view from XM to map, and all the map showed was a black screen with a 2" earth on it. i could switch back to the AV source but if i hit the map button it would just go back the the blue marble. so i shifted into neutral, shut the car off and restarted it and it booted up fine and went right to the map (after the caution screen, of course) which worked fine. i have never seen this yet, has anybody else experenced this? is this just one of those glitches you need to live with? 2screwed Posted April 1, 2009 Report Share Posted April 1, 2009 had this issue too, don't know what caused it but would keep zooming out to the globe view when I was in 2D mode, switch to 3D and it would zoom in. I ended up turning off one of the zooming functions (think it was overview mode) and have not seen the problem since. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
