Eddywill
I am fighting engine whine with this set up I am using a GMOS-4 and Pac swis its not bad but bad enough. Do any of you have a similar setup with no noise? I am on the verge of pulling it all out and double checking everything....

1loudls
reground the system, i would run a groung wire from the bose amp to the headunit, and turn down the gain on the interface module. one of the installers at my shop has the same problem with his tahoe
Matthewts
I, too, had this problem and just turned down the gain on the gmos-04 and it went away. I had to play with it to turn it up as much as possible without hearing the engine whine. It works great with the exception that now when I play my dvd sound through the input on the back of the unit the volume is very low. I have tried adjusting the vol for each source but it doesn't fix this one. Everything else, though, is fine.
Eddywill
So far I guess there is no magic. I have the gain down but I have to turn the radio to 45 to "thump". I may pull the adjustment out of the GMOS and wire a remote adjustment near my eq...... just a thought
