F700 button illumination missing and wont boot

Hi all,

 

Had my F700 for a couple of months. Been enjoying it.

Just installed Cmh928's mod. It was working fine for about 2 days. I pulled the car

out of the garage and noticed that the screen looked dimmer than normal. Pulled

the car back in the garage and noticed the button illumination wasnt on and the unit shut off

after 20 secs.

 

Tried to reinstall Cmh928's mod again in test mode and it shuts off as soon as it starts copying.

It seems like a hardware problem.

 

Question is, Is my warranty voided since I have "modded" it?

EDIT: Just tried to reinstall the 2.0 update and it gave me an "Error 18 disk may be full"

Now I can boot into testmode at least. However, my flash disk only has 16k free space.

I deleted all the files because I was going to load my backup. After deleting, I only have 110mb free space and 1.7 gigs full. Very strange.

 

EDIT #2: Had to dismount the partition before it would let me format. Formatted and loaded up my backup and it is now working.

How the hell do you dismount a partition?
