XM Shuts Down - 700BT

Recommended Posts

Installed 700BT v2.0 on a 08 Passat with brake bypass about 2 months ago

The unit recognizes the XM module and allows selection of stations and presets.

Problem started last week... after 15-20 mins XM just shuts down (Off Screen) the Nav and other options are still working.

I can go back and select XM without restarting the unit... and it dies again

Took it back to BB - checked out the GEXP920XM board for shorts, voltage and reset it... also the IP bus looks good.

Have reset the unit - eject and pin

I went into Testmode and did the following as posted on the forum:

Navigate to the 'My Flash Disk/USER/UserData/iGo/save' folder

Delete all files in the 'save' folder (there will prob be 4 files and 1 folder)

Navigate to the 'My Flash Disk/USER/UserData/SETUP' folder

Delete all files in the 'SETUP' folder (there will prob be 5 files)

what else could it be...? :x
