size limit on usb

Recommended Posts

I have an 8 gig usb thumb drive on my F90. But here's the catch, anything over 2 gigs will have to be reformatted into FAT 32 or FAT because thumb drives with larger capacities uses NTFS file system and the unit will not recognize it. If you are using a device that requires power, from my understanding it will not work. The unit does not supply enough power to power usb devices. A co worker already tried this with an external hard drive and doesn't work. So if you have an 16 usb thumb drive, it will work but you will have to reformat it first.
