Yes... With previous updates you couldn't even update DATA.ZIP to do software bypass. Obviously Pioneer does not want to deal with people who had a corrupted download, tried to load it onto AVIC and bricked it. So the updater compares checksums of files with what they should be, and does not do anything unless they match. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Caustic Posted June 28, 2009 Report Share Posted June 28, 2009 I've installed the update 2.005 with the old ezrider.exe, and have no problems. Last weekend been to Germany and the update wasnt installed yet. Bummer... Every 5 minutes a reset. Well, sure, considering that the upgrade replaces EZRider to fix those resets... If thats the case that ezrider causes the reboot, why not stay at 2.005 and just change the ezrider file with the hacked 2.007 one? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
