maintf16 Posted May 7, 2009 Report Share Posted May 7, 2009 I was wondering if anyone has installed a z2 or z3 in their 08 F-150 super crew and knew where the VSS wire is located at. I have heard conflicting reports about it being at the radio harness. Also if anyone has any tips on installing it that would be appreciated. Thnx Quote Link to post Share on other sites
adarkol Posted July 20, 2009 Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 Yes there is a strong possibility that it will be in the wire harness... I dont remember which one it is though... easy way to test is to take a multimeter and set it to AC volts and have someone srive while you test the wires. The voltage should fluctuate from 0 to about 7 volts and it will change with the speed of the vehicle. Some Fords don't have that wire though, only the ones that came with factorty Nav as an option. sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
