RecMech Posted May 7, 2009 Report Share Posted May 7, 2009 I just bought a new 2009 GMC 2500 HD Duramax SLT with Bose and want to put my old F700 or a new one in the truck. Old install was in a Ford, so I am new to GM. I checked Crutchfield for install parts and they say that the F series will not fit the GMC. Is this a clearance issue? Can it be overcome? It fits cause I've got an F90BT in my 08 Silverado. Was a bit of a challenge to install but lot's of information out there on doing it on the internet.
