w4rh4wk Posted May 15, 2009 Report Share Posted May 15, 2009 So it all started when i decided to upgrade to the 2008.4 map update. The moment I installed the maps, my 700bt would reboot at random once every 30 mins or so. So then i put the 2007 maps back, all of sudden the same issue with random reboots with these maps. I was also running the cmh928 mod but i know that was not the cause (just as a test i removed it). It still was doing the random reboot. I also tried deleting the "gpspara0.bin" files and that still didnt correct the issue. The only way i got the random reboots to stop was this step one:boot into testmode step two: Delete everything in "my flash disk" step three: copy back my orginal untouched backup of my 700bt from the SD card to "my flash disk" step four: reapplied the cmh928 mod im on day #3 and i havent had a single reboot.
