hrngffcr Posted May 19, 2009 Report Share Posted May 19, 2009 Since I saw nothing on the sites selling the Griffin Firewire to USB converter in regard to how it worked, or didn't work, with the CD-IB100II, and since the other converter on the market did disclose that it did not work with the CD-IB100II, I ordered the Griffin converter. When I finally got it and tried it, it did not appear to charge my 4th generation iPod Nano. So I finally went to the Griffin support site, which I guess I should have done before, and found that the converter DOES NOT WORK with the CD-IB100II. Thanks again, Pioneer (for nothing). Yettavr6 Posted May 19, 2009 Report Share Posted May 19, 2009 Not surprised...I bought the Griffin AV cable to replace the crappy pioneer one for the F-series, and it doesn't work at all either. On my 80GB classic it doesn't clip in, and all i get is a distorted Pioneer logo on my ipod screen. On my bf's 30GB video, it works but only gets audio on the right channel. Me thinks Griffin sucks.
