Retell Posted May 23, 2009 Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 So I have an AVIC-F700BT, which died and got sent back for repairs. I then borrowed a cheap Pyle head unit with only 1 set of preouts. By then my woofer had arrived so I split that single set of preouts into 3 sets By this point everything was hooked up and it sounded amazing. Today I get my AVIC back and hook my woofer through the woofer pre outs... It sounds less than okay. The bass is really sloppy and weak. Its loud and shaky at times while other times its just buzzy and annoying. Could it just be that my sub amp's LPF did a better job than my AVICs? I have played around with all bass settings. I am thinking of just using the preout from my speaker amp and running it into my woofer again. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
