BobTheCoward Posted May 26, 2009 Report Share Posted May 26, 2009 I just inherited a vehicle with an AVIC-D3 (it was my nephews' car, and I helped him install, so I'm fairly familiar with the install). We implemented the brake bypass-we can modify routes on the fly and watch videos from my iPod (iPod Video/5th Gen). Anyway, it seems like the AVIC doesn't recognize the Audiobook category on the iPod. It plays music files (all MP3's), and displays the Playlists, but the iPod automatically categorizes MP4's as Audiobooks (which enables bookmarking and other features). The AVIC doesn't seem to have a way to get to these audiobooks-there's no option when I navigate on the screen. Am I just missing something? Thanks all. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
