toop Posted October 30, 2006 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 Well I just finished up installing my D1 and now I think the VSS and Reverse Gear wires aren't correct. On the vehicle diagnostic screen, the middle guage that reads the speed says "Function not available..." And when I go from Drive to Reverse, I don't see any change at all. cntrylvr79 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 no the arrow will not flip backwards. Under the Settings tab, goto hardware, then connection status. The thing that says reverse signal should go high when the car is in reverse and go low when it's not in reverse. As for the vss you should see the number next to speed sensor go up and down as the cars speed increases and decreases. THe speedometer gauge will not function right after the installation because the avic has to learn the car that it's in a bit first. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
