gregbj33
Hey guys, quick question, just hooked up my f900 with the PAC interface cables in my 2008 Sable. Install was a snap. Did the bypass and can access navigation while moving but for some reason can't get into nav settings and system settings. When I hooked it up last night I was able to go into them, but on my way to work couldn't. They are in settings menu but not lit up. Any ideas????
uncouth
This could indicate that your parking break bypass isn't grounded/connected properly. I'd check the connections again...
chajjar
try putting a dvd in and see if it will play while moving. im gonna agree and the bypass probably didnt take
gregbj33
I'm pretty sure that it is the bypass not correct. I upgraded my wiring harness from the regular ford one to the PAC harness, c2r-frd1, I believe. The bypass was working with the first harness and all I did was disconnect ground wire from old harness and connect ground wire from new harness. There new harness does have a wire for the brake that I did not connect, does that need to be added to the other wires I have grounded to make it work?
