SouthernLCC
I am thinking about getting the new Z110BT and have seen a few references at how poor Sirius integration is. Can anyone elaborate? Is it that bad vs XM?

teaster
Don't know from "integration", but HERE, in the trees, Sirius was not too good. Lost signal driving trough trees. Since I have about a 4 mile drive through trees, Sirius was aggravating. Once I got away from the trees, it was ok. I I noticed my daughter's Honda Acord with XM, had little or not signal loss while driving through the same area. So, when I had the AVIC F-90 installed, I chose XM, which works much better with little loss of signal. Tom Mazda, MX5
garrettoomey
The Sirius interface is very generic from what I recall. No channel logo's, one line of text (Artist OR song title, but not both). This is just from memory as I removed my Sirius and use XM for the better interface and NAV Traffic.
johndale
I had put the Sirius system on my wifes Z2 and had issues but we already had a lifetime account but the Z2 was made for XM so we changed hers to XM Traffic and she loves it .i took over her other account after the run around i got from Sirius. So Having both go with XM and yes i know they are owned by the same company now but the service and product speaks for it self.
NatesGr8
New to the forum, just picked up a used Z1. So with sirius we can't get all the song/station info but with xm we can? I have sirius now and would like to continue with it, but if its that bad i'll switch to xm. Thanks, Nate
