mxpro
I made a copy of some music from a torrent download onto a cd. It will play on the computers cd player but not on the Z2's player Any suggestions ??
CaptainInsaneO
Very odd... the Z should play both music CDs and MP3 CDs... by chance did you make this disc using Windows Vista? I know when you format your disc you should be using "Mastered" instead of the other option.
mxpro
Yes I did use vista.. I "ll try again using your suggestion...Thanks
CaptainInsaneO
No problem... to clarify: You need to use a BLANK disc to do what I'm about to describe, this means if you are using a CD-RW you need to erase the disc first. Once the disc is erased (or, once you insert a new CD-R into the drive) just double click the drive as if you were going to open the disc. A window titled "Burn a Disc" should come up that says "Prepare this blank disc" with a text box to input the Disc Title. Notice at the bottom of this window there is a drop-down arrow with "Show formatting options" next to it. Click this arrow and choose the "Mastered" option. Now you should be able to continue adding your files to the disc as normal. Vista is insanely wonky if you are used to using XP to make your discs. I'm ashamed to say this since I am a network engineer, but it literally took me a month to figure this out myself.
