Megatron Posted December 6, 2006 Report Share Posted December 6, 2006 Hey peoples, I've been reading all these posts about installing the z1 into a mustang with the mach 460. Everyone says to get the metra and the bass blockers. But... my last 2 cars were mustangs with the mach 460 (a 97 and a 2000) and for both of them I used the peripheral SVEN2(line output converter) and the SVHFD3(ford add a head for the Mach460) and I never had a problem with my tweeters popping. You can get both of those units on eBay for 50 bux shipped now. Thats the route I'mma go with when I buy the z1 after xmas. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes with pictures and such :). If someone else has tried this approach and found that it doesn't work for some reason, please don't hesitate to bust my bubble. I'd rather find out now then later.
