1. That's what I thought, but this entire email was about just the z2
2. I just got an email from Pioneer about the avic z2 and I read something that has gotten my hopes up a bit: When entertainment is your priority, you’ve got a world of it at your disposal. And it’s all controlled with the touch of a finger. Watch your DVDs and iPod® video on the 7-inch widescreen while you’re parked or listen to your iPod music library, mp3 CDs, and satellite radio, all with high quality sound output. Anyone hear of a new ipod hook up that will show video on the z2? Or are they just referring to hookin up the ipod to the aux video on the z2? I hope it's a new i
3. Sweet, got it thank you oh so much .
4. I can't log into your server, I keep getting incorrect password and stuffs . Did you take the site down for bandwidth issues?
5.
I have a 2006 Mustang GT and the Shaker 500 system and I pulled off the plastic face plate and it sits right on top of the Z1 screen and look stock. In the daylight you could figured it out if you spent some time looking but at night it is pretty tought to tell.
I got a faceplate from a broken mach 460 head unit and made a faceplate for my 02 mustang just like you ;) it's nearly impossible to tell unless you're sitting in the front seat.
6. The auto in the 94-04 mustangs is the 4r70w, it can handle up to 500hp with a good tranny cooler. My friend Sam has a 9 second 95 "Frobra" it's a gt with cobra bumber/emblems hehe. He runs a turbo and 20 lbs of boost it's crazy. He just told me he's wanting to do a tranny swap and get a Lentech automatic. They're basically a 4r70w but bullet proofed out and can handle all the way up to 1500hp for $3000. He missed a shift going down the track when he had a vortec in the car and the blower belt came off, wrapped around the water pump and ripped it out X_x hehe so he went to turbo. But he sa
7. Don't cry Jason It's not a real roush anyway, it's a foush . I put the car together and painted it with my dad. I went for the auto because it's more fun to cruise in (too me anyway) and when I take it to the track I don't have to worry about missing a shift. I did the j-mod on the tranny(removed shift accumulator springs and drilled out the separator plate) so now it can chirp the tires into 3rd. I plan on tossin on a 2.1L kenne bell and putting soem 3.73's in the rear. But right now I needed to listen to my iPod in the car and have a map home from any car show I go cruising to with
8. Finally got my z2 installed by the local audio wizards Horizon Audio. I'm very happy with their work .
9. Before I get flamed, I don't think this has been posted anyware but I could be wrong. I just got a z2 put into my 02 Mustang GT with the Mach 460. I got the bluetooth adapter for it and successfully paired it to my Verizon e815. To my dismay, even though I have enabled OBEX on it I was unable to send contacts to the z2. I was about to flash the phone to the alltel firmware when I got an idea. Even if I flashed it with the alltel fw I would only be able to send 1 contact at a time (I tested this with my friend's alltel e815. So I decided to try and send my contact list with my 17" Powe
10. well if the chocolate works then for sure the z1 uses OBEX for the phone book. Because no verizon phone I know of supports the OPP profile. I was worried that I would have to flash my e815 with the alltell firmware to get it to work fully with the z1. But I've already done the seem edits to enable BTDUN and OBEX so I should be in the clear. Good news indeed
11. Hey peoples, I've been reading all these posts about installing the z1 into a mustang with the mach 460. Everyone says to get the metra and the bass blockers. But... my last 2 cars were mustangs with the mach 460 (a 97 and a 2000) and for both of them I used the peripheral SVEN2(line output converter) and the SVHFD3(ford add a head for the Mach460) and I never had a problem with my tweeters popping. You can get both of those units on eBay for 50 bux shipped now. Thats the route I'mma go with when I buy the z1 after xmas. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes with pictures and
12. Well, I've enabled OBEX on my e815, but here's the problem. Most head units(if not all) don't use the OBEX bluetooth profile to send contact lists/calenders. The profile for that is called Object Push Profile (OPP). Do not despair tho... you can always flash your phone with the altell firmware that's on howard forums and then you would have OPP but you have to be a tiny bit savvy with the phone tools. Its not really that hard but you have to be careful not to hose your phone. Another think you could do is buy a prepaid Amp'ed e816 hollywood (basically our phone but in a cool black housing
