cwilliams Posted July 23, 2009 Report Share Posted July 23, 2009 I did this update and everything seemed fine, and all the directions went ok. The next time I started the car I only got a black screen so I tried resetting it. Now basically I just get the system boots up stays at the logo I can press menu and if I select audio I get nothing, if I try to go to the maps it gives me the warning and I get nothing. Also if I go to the nav menu it says no maps installed. Please help if you can, I am so bummed out, this unit worked well for me, and I dont want to send it to pioneer if I can avoid it. Is there a way to go back to the old version, I cant seem to get it to let me do the update again either. Thak you very much, I tried to search but didnt seem to find this issue. Follow this procedure and you will restore your system to with the new 3.0 firmware: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25817 If you don't wish to use 3.0 upgrades, let us know and we will walk you through restoring the unit to 2.0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
