REQUEST: Turn Off "Off-Route Recalculation"

I'm using the new nav mod posted my borism which added a switch for Turn off/on "Off Route Recalculation". Does anyone know how to make this switch functional ? I can physically turn it off but it will always default back to "on".

This only works on the first version of Yuri's mod (which includes an off-route calculation on/off switch)

 

I found these lines commented out in file “navigatemap.uiâ€.

When I re-enable these lines – It does set the off-route recalculation to off, However it stays off

 

So I'm getting there !

 

Since I'm not a programmer, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to make this switch functuinal (and/or) is there a way to put a recalculation button on the map screen?
