BigTex07 Posted July 28, 2009 Report Share Posted July 28, 2009 I just bought one of these units off ebay and had my wife text me the serial info so that I could verify it's free to be activated. She found an ID number by the serial # that was an 8 digit code starting with the letter "v". I called XM and they were able to activate it under my account.........so does this mean that was the correct #? I thought the only way to retrieve the ID was view channel 0? 1loudls Posted September 14, 2009 Report Share Posted September 14, 2009 the XM radio ID is printed on a lable on the module itself and stored inside the device and can be veiwed through channel 0 and did the unit activate? if so then it was the right number, also did the number match the number from channel 0?
