I may have missed this a few pages back, but how many bytes are the West and East ISOs supposed to be? For example, my West iso is: Size - 8,501,929,984 bytes Size on disc - 8,501,932,032 bytes

No worries, I've got all the time in the world. Thanks!

lol....time remaining: 1 week 3 days

I'm trying to also but it's not downloading either Nevermind, it's going now....just took it awhile to start I guess.
-
Has anyone's started downloading yet? I'm using utorrent and it's not doing anything.
-
It doesn't even have to be $60....it can be $50 + 7 x $10, etc....depending on how many people there are (I was just throwing out an example). Either way, you can count me in for the $10. I don't know enough about torrents to be the front man.
-
Im in for that. We all pull in, have one person throw in the other $60 OR we can get like 20 people throw in $10 and someone can Torrent it for the rest of us. Well, the reason I said the 6 x $10 + $60 method is that the person buying it gets to keep the originals. It wouldn't seem fair if the person keeping the originals only paid $10 like everyone else. Just my 2 cents.
-
Why don't we all pool together 6 people to pay $10 each, have one of us contributed the other $60 to buy the discs from Pioneer and send burnt copies to everyone that chipped in?

I just bought one of these units off ebay and had my wife text me the serial info so that I could verify it's free to be activated. She found an ID number by the serial # that was an 8 digit code starting with the letter "v". I called XM and they were able to activate it under my account.........so does this mean that was the correct #? I thought the only way to retrieve the ID was view channel 0?

Yeah, I decided to go through the trouble of taking the D3 out and installing it in the new vehicle. I was even able to integrate it with the factory DVD/Rear Monitor system I will put a cheap replacement (some $175 Chinese made model on ebay) in the old SUV and sell it privately. I love the D3 and it's probably the longest I've held on to a radio.
-
From what I've read on various 12v forums, Ford is one of the easiest to integrate, so you're one of the lucky ones

Just updated my original post above.....I was able to get it working. Hopefully this helps any other folks with Honda or other Import models with OEM DVD Systems.
-
If I understand your question...it sounds like the D3 hasn't pick up a strong enough signal to initialize. Once it gains a good signal and you have it connected to the VSS wire, it should fix those issues.

I just tried the above method this morning and it worked. When I loaded the disc, it said it was updating and ultimately completed. Is there anything else that needs to be done after that? I didn't notice much difference in the maps...for example, there's a freeway that opened up in summer of '07, a few miles from my house and it's still not showing up. -
Great, that's exactly I'd like to do at the most (if possible). Especially if it will allow me to keep my NAV disk in while playing a movie off the OEM dvd. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get yours installed at and how much did it run you? Is your OEM DVD player/screen all in one, or is the DVD player separate from the screen?
