shadow714 Posted November 8, 2006 Report Share Posted November 8, 2006 there are 2 wires coming from the stock wiring harness (White) and an (white/orange) does anyone know what wire does what. I am trying to locate my dimmer wire and my speed wire. Are either of these wires those ones? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
sportsfan21 Posted November 8, 2006 Report Share Posted November 8, 2006 I would guess the white/orange one would be the dimmer wire. Test it. Take a multimeter, set it to DCV and check what the voltage is when your headlights are off and when the are on. When your lights are off, you should get a reading of 0 V. When they are switched on, you should get ~12V. If that doesnt happen with the white/orange wire, check the white wire using the same way. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
