gobodo
Hi everybody, i´ve got an avic f-900bt, from spain, and i want to update the speedcams. I registered in pioneer's web and got an id to download the update. From poicom web i downloaded the poi-warner speedcam updater, so far so good, but when i run it, the first thing it does is trying to connect to avic, which is installed in my car, obviously :DD. I´ve read in many webs the speedcams are able to be updated using a sd-card, but i cannot choose that option!! Please help ) Thanks in advance.
avic_weo
it should do this automagically. However, I never got mine to work like this. I'm doing this via testmode now. Anyway, the POICON speedcams are far from accurate. Try googling for a (free) speedcam.txt, copy that to the appropriate folder, and the AVIC will convert it to a SPUD file. gobodo
Could you please detail me that process a little bit more? Where to download the file, if i must use the sd card... Thanks!!!!
tail24
You need to google for it... ie Spain Speedcam Spud file or something of that sort. Put it on a fresh SD card with testmode go into test mode. Go into myflashdisk, apl2, igo, content, speedcams and paste it in there
