darrahh
I've installed a couple of D3s in the past and never had an issue with a bypass, but I'm working on a f700bt now and having a few issues. First of all, I've done the V3.0 upgrade, along with using the new data.zip file with the altered pioneer.ini file so it should be bypassed within the software. The problem I get is that no matter what I try the unit acts as thought the handbrake wire isn't properly hooked up. I've done the software bypass, tried the hardware bypass (moving pin and grounding along with the handbrake wire), even tried pulsing the handbrake wire to ground b/c I've had success doing that previously. All turn up nothing. Is there something I'm missing? Any suggestions on what to try? Does the secondary harness (with the mute pin and AV inputs) have to be plugged in, because currently I'm just running a ground wire to pin 16. Thanks
