Redfox0099
I didn't drive my Jeep all weekend long and when I got in this morning I got a weird message on my Z1. The Screeen states "Cannot use HDD" Is there a reset button or something, it was fine on Friday. The XM station I was listening is still playing but I can only change the volume, nothing else. garrettoomey
You can try a level 3 reset, but your HDD may be toast.
Redfox0099
What is a level 3 reset... is there a link to tell me what that is? What is a level 1 or 2?
garrettoomey
It's in the owner's manual or see my post here: viewtopic.php?t=18833
Redfox0099
So I replaced the hard drive and I still get the same message, where can you send these units to get them repaired????
Redfox0099
The unit in Question was one of the 1st Z1s sold in Texas back in May of 2006 so it is kinda old, it had the original hard drive in it. In my truck I have a Z2 that was upgraded to a Z3 software... to get it to bypass I need to do the 2 wire grounding correct?
