garrettoomey
Does it sounds like maybe the DVD drive loading/ejecting a disc? You might try loading a disc in the DVD player.

garrettoomey
Sounds like the drive may need to be replaced... If your kinda handy, you may try taking it apart to see if there is something stuck...

garrettoomey
I do not have any idea on how to fix your issue, since I don't know exactly what is causing it. You need to seek local electronics repair, or return the unit to Pioneer for repair. Yes, you music can be moved from the old drive to the new drive. I will PM you pricing. You can do a level 1 or level 2 reset without loosing your music. See your owner's manual or use the forum search in the upper right corner on this board.
