ducatiboy
I made up some new diagrams for installation if people want to switch the bypass in and out. There are 2 ways one for a temporary way and one for a full disable the bypass. My instructions are here: http://www.sminntech.com/install.html The one for temporary lockouts is based on hooking up the parking brake and letting it bring the lockouts back. http://www.sminntech.com/z1fcinstall4.html But as soon as you disengage the parking brake and restart the car, the bypass will work again. I have my personal vehicle hooked up like: http://www.sminntech.com/images/flasher_alternate3.jpg Cause I have an automatic transmission and never use the parking brake anyway. But I also drew up the way to put a switch and relays in the vehicle so that you can switch between bypass working or normal operation (as pioneer intended). http://www.sminntech.com/z1fcinstall5.html If I had planned ahead I could have added a wire or two and adjusted my software in my circuit so people wouldn't have needed the relays, but I didn't. Sorry. These shouldn't be too hard to install and most people probably wouldn't need to bother with them anyway. But here they are.
