brian1234 Posted August 23, 2009 Report Share Posted August 23, 2009 Small issue. The stereo will dim at night just like it should except when I hit the high beams it goes to full brightness. I am using the GMOS lan adapter. Is there a solution to this other than hooking into the parking lights wire? I sometimes use my parking lights during the day and don't want the stereo to dim. 1loudls Posted August 24, 2009 Report Share Posted August 24, 2009 you could run a wire from both the low and high beam's + wire and use a pair of diods to isolate the wires from each other and run that to the pioneer's illum wire, that way it would only dim when the lows or highs are on and not when the parking lights are on.
