warchild119 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 i have a z2 installed with the wire by pass but now i bought a new hard drive with the updated maps and i'm not sure if by installing this new drive will have any effect on the bypass. can anyone help me with this confusion? I have a Z2 (with the original hard drive) that I'm about to install in my car. I performed the two wire bypass. Do I need to upgrade to an unlocked drive for the bypass to work? I have garret's drive, but still get the warnings and the eventual blocking of the dvd playback, when I notch up the e-brake one notch while driving. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
