hectordagreat11 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 i have a f700bt and im using the apple ipod cable. i have always wondered if this is the way its suppose to work because it has always bugged me. anyways my ipod stays on when i turn off the car. i have to reach into the glovebox and select sleep on the ipod so it goes to sleep, otherwise it just stays on. the ipod does pause the music when i turn off the car but, it just stays on. anyone have any input or have the same problem? my ipod is a 30gb video 5th gen Quote Link to post Share on other sites
1loudls Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 if the Ipod pauses when the car is turned off, the Ipod will shut itself off after a couple of mins, unless you have that turned off in the Ipod settings. my Ipod always shuts off (even when your just using the Ipod alone w/ headphones) when its paused and left for a couple of mins Quote Link to post Share on other sites
