I need help reloading my original 2.0 files on my 700BT. It took a crap on me again and I forgot how to reload the fresh files. I dont want to try 3.0 or any kind of mod I just want my pioneer to be reliable...somewhat lol. I have the test mode files but cant find a thread that walks me through the process. I believe I have the original files, just need to know how to do it. thanks

i have a f700bt and im using the apple ipod cable. i have always wondered if this is the way its suppose to work because it has always bugged me. anyways my ipod stays on when i turn off the car. i have to reach into the glovebox and select sleep on the ipod so it goes to sleep, otherwise it just stays on. the ipod does pause the music when i turn off the car but, it just stays on. anyone have any input or have the same problem? my ipod is a 30gb video 5th gen

i went into test mode deleted everything in the flash drive, copied and pasted the files i got from him.

ok but does the that explain the lack of files in your flash drive? i mean something obviously got deleted right?

yea i dont think thats possible either...the gps antenna is only made for that purpose...

wow man, we are experiencing the EXACT same problems hope someone can help...

i just reloaded 2.0 from the pioneer website and it loaded up fine...followed the instructions from the pioneer website http://pioneerusa.com/PUSA/Support/Navigation/AVIC+F-Series+Firmware+Update+Download i got stuck at step five the main menu never came up by itself...i pressed menu and it worked...but some buttons work and some dont...exactly what you just described...then after a couple of mins it just restarts...

ive searched but could not find a concrete answer...do you recommend I download the 2.0 file from pioneer.com and reload the files? my unit came with 2.0 installed so would this affect anything? another possible solution I found is to reload the virgin 2.0 files which I believe gsxer or something like that has this...where can I get this? also, would I do this via test mode? someone plz help, im driving around in silence...

Hello all, My F700 was working perfect until this morning. Last night I drove about 30 min from dallas to fort worth and was playing music from my ipod nonstop. I feel as though maybe the unit was working too hard and now it has taken a dump. anyway, this morning I remote started my car, like I always do, and when I got in the car and the music was playing(fm) but the screen was black. I freaked. I turned off/on the car and same thing.
