I can happily report that the station presets now scan with the Pioneer wired marine remote. Volume up or down no longer continues to rise or drop after I let go of the button. If I hit a button on the screen, something happens! It's like Pioneer tried to copy Kenwood, Alpine, Clarion, Panasonic and EVERY other company in the way things work. It's about time, Pioneer. This morning I started the radio up again and just like old times, the stations just kept scanning after I jabbed the button, the "OKAY" button couldn't be pressed and it acted like the firmware 2.0 version.
