jrb222 Posted November 14, 2006 Report Share Posted November 14, 2006 It turns out my AVIC-Z1 is newer and I didn't need the bypass unit. I had the fix done to my system which seems to work with the parking brake off but as soon as I start driving the controls become inactive and DVD swithces off and a error comes up saying it is prohibited from use while driving.
