Scott8659
I just installed my Z110 but I'm having serious issues with the Bluetooth and Bluetooth audio. When I try to play music via Bluetooth audio it keeps cutting in and out. It does this no matter where the phone is located. I tried re-pairing but the problem got worse. I also noticed my iPhone is only pairing as a Bluetooth audio device and everytime I try to make a call I get a message that the audio device will be disconnected. I tried deleting the entry for my phone but it appears you cannot delete anything until you have 5 phones paired. When I select the registration option all I get is a menu to setup a new device. My phone is not even lisyed and there is no option to delete. Any ideas?
VBLUE42
The problem your having with the audio cutting in and out is a bug with the phone. Mine does the same thing and also did it with the DNX9140. I also had the same problem with the phone not pairing properly for hands free. Delete the unit profile on the phone and repair from the phone.
Scott8659
That sucks. Hopefully it will be fixed with the software update planned for this month. Have you found any way to delete the profiles from the HU itself?
VBLUE42
Yea its in there somewhere. I had to fix the problem you are having also last week and I was able to delete the profile of my phone from the unit. Page 80 in the manual.
Scott8659
I tried that last night but never get the option to delete. It always tries to register a new device. How many phones did you have linked when you deleted one?
h2omaan
as far as using the bluetooth for making phone calls I have a 3gs and it works flawless, I dont use the bluetooth audio portion,(use regular iPod for music) I never liked the quality of the audio no matter what radio or device, the easiest way to delete the phone from the radio is to do method 2 ,which is the "restore to factory settings" button in the "settings" menu. this will erase some other settings but will also erase paired phones. i'm running 3.01 software on iPhone and it works fine, my only gripe is that u gotta goto the NAV screen and hit the OK button before the voice dial will work, I just updated to 3.1 but have not tried it yet with that. Apple did not list any bluetooth updates with 3.1 so it should still work the same. Also used the pair from phone option on the Z
Scott8659
Last I heard was v3.1 was supposed to include the Bluetooth profile that allows remote control via A2DP.
h2omaan
that would be cool for people who use it for streaming, but i read the details for the download and i didnt see anything about bluetooth, might have just missed it though. haven't got in car yet since 3.1 update. i do know that you could always play/pause with 3.0 but no track changing
crf1000
Anyone having problems connecting with Iphone since the new 3.1 update? I have heard mixed reviews that some haven't been able to connect...
VBLUE42
I tested a friends 3GS yesterday with my unit and everything worked flawlessly, even charging of the phone which some have said doesn't work for them.

crf1000
Thanks! Did your friends phone have the new update? Just curious...
VBLUE42
Actually it only had 3.0.1 so there may be some truth to the problem with 3.
crf1000
Yeah, I am getting closer and closer to buying it and its making me a little nervous that it won't work with my phone. i am sure eventually it will be compatible but that would suck everytime you update the phone your bluetooth stopped working. VBLUE42
Try to find someone with the unit or go to your nearest dealer that has one is his board. You should be able to pair it and do full testing to verify compatibility.
