jagr_200
So I just got a D3 and when I go to navigation I am not able to click on the address selection. Everything else works perfectly. Is there a wire that has to be hooked up for this function? There was one pink wire that I didn't connect but I don't think I need it. Thanks. BuffaloSS
Is the car in park? Did you do the bypass? You cannot find an address or set up a new route while driving/not in park. Many other options are not available in Drive as well. The pink wire is the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) wire, and is optional (but recommended for better GPS tracking). jagr_200
I have the bypass hooked up. I can drive and watch movies and all that but I can't enter a address when the Navi disc is in. But when I take it out and it switches to memory mode I can click on it but when I do it says "Not available in memory mode." So what do I need to do? I can't figure it out. BuffaloSS
Is the unit brand new? Is the Nav disc OE? It's possible that the disc is corrupt and not letting you do this.
jagr_200
So it looks like the disc is corrupt. The East disc works. And I bought this off a guy and the discs are burned. Now I need to find somewhere to download the West disc so I can burn it! grrrrr
jagr_200
Well I found a good download for both East and West discs. I downloaded both and burned them to discs and success!!!! They work perfectly. I will make and sell the discs to anyone that wants them. $20 shipped to your door. Covers my time and the discs. PM me if interested!
BuffaloSS
That's gotta be a first! It usually takes people 20 tries to get a working set of discs. Good for you...glad it's working.
