mirando Posted September 10, 2009 Report Share Posted September 10, 2009 I used the cigarette lighter plug to power the F500bt. Sometime, unit unit would shut off by itself. So I pushed the start button twice to start it back, and in 10 minutes, it shut off again. Again, I pushed the start button twice, it started for another 10 minutes and died.... openminds Posted September 12, 2009 Report Share Posted September 12, 2009 Some vehicles use a thermal breaker as opposed to a fuse for the Cig lighter power. Sounds like your unit is drawing a tad much for it and tripping it. It will reset on t's own, but quite inconvenient. Change to a good power source. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
