F900BT to JBL Synthesis...

Recommended Posts

Hey guys. I just bought a 2008 Toyota Sequoia with the JBL Synthesis system. My installer used a TYTO Metra harness to integrate into the factory amp. For some reason, the front speakers seem to be cutting out, or losing the high end signal. Sounds like the volume shifts. I have seen that PAC Audio recommends a 4V input, and the F900 only provides 2V. Is this the culprit? Should I switch to PAC Audio? RCA in line boosters created REALLY bad alternator noise, so boosting the signal is out.

Any ideas??

a weaker signal should have nothing to do with the sound cutting out, it sounds more like a bad connection or a bad interface, i would start with checking the install to make sure that there isnt a problem there like a loose wire, if that checks out i would try a different module or a different brand module like the scosche TA07SR
