f90bt bluetooth pairing

Recommended Posts

I recently upgrated to the latest 3.x f90bt firmware. my iphone 3g with 3.01 was working just fine. however, i was having another issue which i posted to this forum about a VR catalog issue. While troubleshooting that issue i removed the pairing to my iphone.

My Iphone will no longer pair. i can get to the point where it asks for the 4 digit code and i enter 0000 but it says pairing failed.

any ideas ?

Thanks, i gave that a shot and it didn't work. it just says "Could not pair 'Pioneer Navi'"

I even tried to change the name of the unit to pioneer instead of pioneer navi, and it still shows up as pioneer navi when trying to pair the phone. I had to stop working on it but i did not reboot the radio after i changed the name, nexts i get in the car i'll try it again to see if it is recognizing the name change.

Any other ideas ? The code would always be 0000 right ? it can't be anything else or does it even matter what it is?

AFAIK the code should be 1111, also try pairing from the phone and not from the unit
