mattesonb Posted September 30, 2009 Report Share Posted September 30, 2009 no matter how place the picture i want to use on the SD card the unit keeps telling me there is no Pictures folder. i have tried putting a folder on the card in the following ways Pictures PICTURES PICTURE Picture it still tells me there is no Pictures folder, am i doing something wrong? the card is formatted as Mac OSX. JrFaust Posted September 30, 2009 Report Share Posted September 30, 2009 What is the file extension of your pictures you are trying? I believe they need to be .bmp for the unit to see them. And I think the SD card has to be in fat or fat32 format I don't know if these units can read the OSX format. Other wise I've put new pictures on my unit via testmode. I hope that helps. whoopidoo2 Posted October 3, 2009 Report Share Posted October 3, 2009 Doing them with the SD Card (presuming it will work) will only allow you to upload ONE pic to the Avic. Remove that one, replace with another from the SDCard, repeat. Easier way....boot to test mode, copy *all* your pics to My Flash Disk / Data / Splashpic Done. Now you have all of them.
