Meaning will the vehicle cursor move if the gps antenna is disconnected. My x910 has a vss however I don't think the avic software supports it. It doesn't work. Thinking of upgrading to the Z series. CamelTowing Posted October 2, 2009 Report Share Posted October 2, 2009 Yes it has VSS. All navigation systems still need the GPS antenna connected. After it goes through a learning period, the VSS will make it more accurate if you momentarily lose GPS reception (bridge, tunnel, tall buildings, etc.) You still need the GPS antenna connected though Quote Link to post Share on other sites
