mackmcmillan Posted October 5, 2009 Report Share Posted October 5, 2009 As mentioned above, have both these units and would love them to work together although I know the NAVI is a stand-alone/OEM interfacing unit. I'd like all the amenities provided by the F500BT such as Bluetooth, USB, etc, but I cannot come up with a viable solution to get them to work together. Basically, if I had the stock (subpar) HU, I could run the NAVI through my system; since I have a Pioneer aftermarket HU, I cannot get the NAVI to play through it. Seems a common theme for Pioneer to "pioneer" ways to get more $$ from us and not have their products easily assimilated to one another! I truly appreciate your time and in looking at the intelligence here am sure to have some good info passed along soon! For reference, have called their "tech support" and have been told there is no way this is feasible... Am also curious as to glean instructions on a hard-wire solution for the NAVI to negate the need for the 12V port as mine are ALL constant so I have to unplug/plug unit in every time I get in/out the vehicle! -Mack Quote Link to post Share on other sites
