spadabear Posted October 9, 2009 Report Share Posted October 9, 2009 I am using a 16 GB Kingston SD card. I am wondering if anybody else out there has tried any Kingston products before. I find it freezes up on me when trying to transfer large files, whether it be on the head unit to the SD card (ie backing up my flash disk) or transferring form my computer to the SD card (ie IDT's mod). I'm just wondering if I made a mistake buying Kingston or if I should just take it back to get a replacement. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The maximum card that you require is a 4GB, and that is only if you need to back up your ENTIRE drive and then install a new set of maps. I use a Patriat 4GB card and it works great.
