runrabbitrun08
Hey guys, this is my first post...I've been lurking for a while, but never actually registered til now. I'm not new to the forum environment, and I've done ALOT of searching, but I can't find the solution or explanation to my problem. I have an F700BT, bought it about a year ago, or so. It hasn't been updated to Pioneers new firmware, nor has it been hacked at all. My problem is, every time I try to use the voice command button (push in the volume knob), it instantly locks up the whole head unit, and I lose all audio signal from the head unit completely. No music, no buttons work, no sounds, no radio, no phone, nothing. The volume meter wont even come up on the screen when I try to change the volume. It worked completely fine for about 4-5 months, then out of the blue, I tried it one day, and it wouldn't respond. I can't choose artists/albums, I can't search for contacts, I can't do anything related to the voice command button. Anybody have ANY idea what's going on with my head unit? I absolutely LOVE this thing, and it's probably the best money I ever spent on my car, but this one little problem really gets annoying. Any help is greatly appreciated. DHL
I'd try installing the 2.0006 update (from the Pioneer website) and see if that does anything for ya.
