  1. Awesome....thanks fella's!
  2. I've searched that folder high and low, I don't think that's where it is. I could very well be mistaken, but I can't find it. I have also searched the AV folder in the image file, but I just can't seem to pinpoint which one it is. Thanks anyway.
  3. Would anybody happen to know the name of this bar, and where it is located?
  4. You need an SD card to access testmode. So if you plan on performing any hacks, you will need one.
  5. http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=19689&p=132357&hilit=hardware+bypass#p132357 I believe that is the link you are looking for. If you are getting a message about improper grounding, the software bypass probably won't help you. The parking brake still has to be grounded properly in order for the software bypass to work. As for the max size of SD/USB...the MANUAL says there is a limit of 8gb for SD, and 2gb for USB, but people have had success with larger mediums. It's been hit and miss though!
  6. If you can afford $1000 for a stereo, i'm sure you can afford $70 for the official upgrade. It is well worth it!
  7. I'd try installing the 2.0006 update (from the Pioneer website) and see if that does anything for ya.
  8. I believe it's a 2GB flashdisk.
  9. That updates your stereo to firmware 2.006, and yes 3.0 is a paid update. As for the mic, it plugs in to the back of the unit. If you don't have a copy of the manual (installation), download it!
  10. The thread is a step-by-step guide on how to do it! Which part(s) do you not understand? It can be a little overwhelming when you first try modding your stereo. I suggest reading, reading, and more reading, then your answers will probably come to you. Tell us exactly what is incomprehensible to you, and we'll go from there. P.S. - Don't forget about the reading:)
  11. Can someone please look down 13 threads and see the "Complete 3.0 Install Guide"!!!
  12. The 2.006 update resolved the daylight savings issue. (http://www.pioneerelectronics.ca/POCEN/Support/Car+Audio+Video/In-Dash/GPS-Navigation/ci.AVIC-F900BT.Support?tab=B)
  13. How dare a GPS show you where you are! It could be worse...some peoples GPS' show them 20 ft from where they are.
